Intermediate Library for PSCAD v4.6.3

The Intermediate Library is a collection of library models that are being developed post-release. This library, which was initially created starting at v4.6.3, is periodically updated with improvements and new models.

The Intermediate Library for v4.6.3 is installed within the example folder, to a location similar to path below. This workspace will load the Intermediate Library and example projects that use the new models.

C:\Users\Public\Documents\PSCAD\4.6\Examples\ModelsInProgress\ModelsInProgress.pswx

       Note: Your PSCAD folder may be 4.6 or 4.6.3 in the above example path.

Please note there are no help files for this library because this is in development, but please feel free to use the library and provide any feedback (support@mhi.ca).

Setup instructions

a. Download and extract (unzip) the “ModelsInProgress.zip” file.

b. In the directory as shown below, replace the existing "ModelsInProgress" folder with the extracted "ModelsInProgress" folder:
        C:\Users\Public\Documents\PSCAD\4.6\Examples\ModelsInProgress

c. The workspace can be loaded into PSCAD as shown:

1. The harmonic impedance component now correctly gives the impedance of multiple FDNEs.
2. A bug in Z domain transfer function N(z)/D(z) is resolved.
3. The component "sorter" is improved.
4. A bug in partial blocking implementation in MMC half bridge component is resolved.

17. Harmonic scanner can now support up to 500 FDNE's
18. Synchronous machine saturation data entry is now enabled when both D7Q axis saturation is selected.
19. FDNE bug related to  multiple Harmonic injections is fixed.
